Consultant Psychiatrist — Five subspecialty services
About the role
Health New Zealand is recruiting Consultant Psychiatrists across five subspecialty services — adult community, acute inpatient, child and adolescent, forensic, and intellectual disability — in both urban and rural settings. Take the service that fits: permanent or fixed-term, full or part time, with a relocation package and registration support included. Remuneration is on the ASMS collective SMO scale, with a CME allowance of NZ$18,000 a year plus 10 study days. As a Senior Medical Officer you sit on Tier 1 of New Zealand's Green List — a direct pathway to residence for you, your partner and children. Applications are handled in strict confidence by Ava Medical; the employing organisation is shared with shortlisted candidates only.
