Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
Ava Medical Limited ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who we are
Ava Medical Limited is registered in England & Wales. We are the data controller for the personal data we process about candidates, client contacts and website visitors. You can contact us about this policy at jack@avamedical.co.uk.
2. What we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect: your name and contact details; your CV, qualifications, registration and right-to-work information; your job preferences, availability and salary expectations; and limited technical data (such as pages viewed) where you consent to analytics.
3. How we use it
We use your data to provide our recruitment services — matching you to roles, submitting applications with your consent, and keeping you informed — and to run and improve our website. Our lawful bases are your consent, our legitimate interests in providing recruitment services, and, where relevant, steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
4. Cookies & analytics
Our website uses strictly necessary cookies to function, and — only with your consent — Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. Analytics stays switched off until you accept via our cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing this site's cookies.
5. Who we share it with
We share your details with prospective employers only with your consent, and with trusted service providers (such as our IT and analytics providers) who process data on our behalf. We do not sell your data.
6. How long we keep it
We retain candidate data for up to two years from our last meaningful contact, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or a longer period is required by law.
7. Your rights
- Access to the personal data we hold about you
- Correction of inaccurate data
- Erasure of your data
- Restriction of or objection to processing
- Data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at jack@avamedical.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
