Consultant Radiologist — Diagnostic & Interventional
About the role
Health New Zealand is recruiting a Consultant Radiologist across diagnostic and interventional work, in a department performing over 100,000 examinations a year using every modality — CT, MRI, angiography, nuclear medicine, mammography, fluoroscopy, ultrasound and general radiography — with body intervention, biopsy and drainage, and dedicated MSK interventional lists. Permanent, 40 hours (job-sized), with six weeks' annual leave. Remuneration is on the ASMS collective SMO scale, with a CME allowance of NZ$18,000 a year plus 10 study days, and Senior Medical Officers sit on Tier 1 of the Green List — straight to residence. Applications are handled in strict confidence by Ava Medical; the employing organisation is shared with shortlisted candidates only.
