Consultant Clinical Oncologist
About the role
A large NHS teaching hospital in the East of England is recruiting a Consultant Clinical Oncologist on a fixed-term contract (ASAP to 28 February 2027, part-time at 6.75 sessions per week). The primary interest is urology — including prostate brachytherapy and upper-GI cancers — though other interests may be accommodated. Essential
- Full specialist registration (or eligibility) and home-country registration
- Entry on the GMC Specialist Register
- A primary interest in urological and/or upper-GI oncology
- Previous NHS experience
- Evidence of English-language competence (IELTS/OET) where required
- GMC registration — or eligibility, which we guide you through
Desirable
- Postgraduate qualifications or fellowship in the specialty
- Experience in a comparable health system
- Teaching, audit or research involvement
